Description
Join us for Taste of Italy: Easy Family Meals, a fun cooking course just for parents of 14-19 learners at Cotmanhay ACE Centre. During the session, you will learn how to make a tasty Italian meal that is easy to cook and affordable for families. You will follow simple recipes, learn new cooking skills, and build confidence in the kitchen. All ingredients and equipment will be provided. At the end of the session, you will take home the Italian meal you have made to enjoy with your family. This course is ideal for parents who want to cook simple, low-cost meals that the whole family can enjoy.
This course is for parents and carers of our 14-19 learners. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work and group work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
This is a cooking course; aprons will be provided but please make sure long hair is tied back. Please bring clean containers with a lid to take your meal home. You may want to bring something to make notes.
This course is free and there are no other costs.
