Description
All of our Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of the seven 'purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. Develop skills in, and experience, natural crafts such as eco printing, making mud/clay pots, block printing and pyrography, with your child, while reaping the benefits of being in a beautifully developed community garden.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you have school aged children, live in Hurst Farm, Matlock or surrounding areas and would like to have a go at some fun activities to support you with your child's learning and engage with the community. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This course is based in the Farmer's Community Garden and will include use of the shed as well as outdoor areas for practical activities with guidance from your tutor.
What will I need?
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather and you don't mind getting messy.
Are there any other costs?
This course is free and there are no other costs.
You may wish to progress onto one of our other courses to help you progress into further learning or employment.
