This course is for those who are interested in finding out about types of dementia, the person centred approach to supporting people with dementia, and where to get advice and support.
Who is this course for?
This course is for those who are interested in finding out about types of dementia, the person centred approach to supporting people with dementia, and where to get advice and support. This course will help you to become an active member of your local community and will highlight transferable skills valued by employers. You do not need any prior knowledge or experience of dementia. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. Your tutor will give you information, you will watch some informative videos and can engage in class discussions.
