Description
An introduction session to the Mentoring role. You will learn what a mentor is and what skills are required to be a good mentor.
This course is for people who are interested in becoming a mentor. It looks at the role of the mentor, when to use mentoring & the benefits of mentoring.
Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a class room based course. You will learn through discussion & presentations delivered by a tutor. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You might want to bring a pen and notebook to take notes.
This course is free with no extra costs.
There will be an opportunity to learn more about mentoring with further learning or enrol on a Mentoring qualification.
