Description
All of our Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. Pathways to employment is a friendly, practical series of workshops designed to help you build confidence, develop job?seeking skills, and take positive steps to securing meaningful work. 'Confident communication and interview technique' is a supportive session designed to reduce interview anxiety and build communication skills. Includes STAR?based answers, video/telephone interview tips, and optional practice activities in a safe, encouraging space.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are unemployed, returning to work, or unsure where to start with job searching. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work and group work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You may want to bring something to make notes.
