Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help you improve skills to participate in community life.
A comprehensive session covering essential emergency life support procedures for adults, children, and infants:
Adult, child, and baby resuscitation (CPR)
Recognising and responding to chest pain
Managing choking in adults, children, and babies
Conducting a primary survey
Helping unresponsive individuals
Controlling bleeding
Responding to seizures.
Who is this course for?
Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a class room based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You might want to bring a pen and notebook to take notes. Wear comfortable clothing as there will be some practical activities.
