Description
This essential skills course is for adults with learning disabilities who want to build confidence and learn useful everyday skills. It covers reading, writing, maths and IT skills for everyday life. The course is taught through art projects in a simple and supportive way with plenty of help and practice.
Who is this course for?
A fun and creative taster for adults with learning disabilities, including essential English, maths and IT skills for everyday life. It is suitable for beginners and those that have some experience. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. You will learn through hands on activities, step by step guidance and plenty of support in a friendly and relaxed setting. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You don't need to bring anything, just yourself and a willingness to have a go and get creative. All materials will be provided.
