Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning.
This course will help build parenting skills and give you the confidence to support your children's learning.
This short course is for parents/carers of neurodiverse children and looks at the effects of neurodiversity on mental health. The course will focus on how neurodevelopmental differences such as Autism, ADHD, dyslexia and others can influence mental wellbeing. Learners will gain a deeper understanding of neurodivergent experiences, examining both the challenges and strengths that these bring. The course will cover common mental health issues faced by neurodivergent children including anxiety and social isolation whilst also highlighting strategies for support and resilience.
