Description
This course is aimed at those currently working as a Teaching Assistant who wish to progress to Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Team Leader) status. This course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding needed when analysing and addressing the different challenges that Teaching Assistants are likely to encounter.

Entry Requirements
Learners will need to be in paid employment as a Teaching Assistant in a school.
How you will learn
You will attend a weekly, tutor led class on Microsoft Teams. In addition to your weekly class there will be the minimum of 5 hours of homework based on the class activities every week.
What you will need
You will need either a smart phone, tablet, laptop or other computer with internet access to do the course via a link you will be sent.
What you will learn
Learners will develop an understanding of working with individuals and with small groups as well as gaining essential insight into supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
