Description

Who is this course for
This course is for anyone who wants to improve their maths who does not have a Grade 4 or above in GCSE or a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification.

How you will learn
You can choose to join a face-to-face course, which is delivered in one of our local venues, or a distance online learning course. The sessions will be a mixture of tutor-led activities, individual work, group work and homework. You will do activities based on numbers, data handling, measurement, shape and space during the course. There will be the chance to ask questions and put what you have learnt into practice. Your tutor will give you feedback during the course, and you will be able to self-assess your progress and achievement. You will also be given access to a student email and a 365 account as well as a login to our online learning platform. Support will be individually tailored to your needs. You can access these tools at home and use them to reinforce your learning and skills.

What you will need
You might like to bring a file to keep your work in, a pen and a pad to make notes. If you enrol for an online class, you will need access to a laptop/computer and a stable broadband connection.

Where Next
Once you have completed this course, you might like to progress onto a higher level of functional skills Maths or a GCSE Maths course.
